What is a Lulav?

A lulav is a closed frond of a date palm used as one of the Four Species (Arba Minim) in the Sukkot celebration. The frond must be fresh and unbroken, with the spine straight and intact. Our date palm fronds are cut at the ideal stage of growth for lulav use.

Ordering Lulav Fronds

Sukkot falls in September/October each year (dates vary by Jewish calendar). We recommend contacting us at least 4–6 weeks before Sukkot to reserve your fronds. Supply is seasonal and limited — early booking is essential. We supply to individuals, synagogues and Jewish community organisations.

Collection & Delivery

Fronds can be collected from our Pearcedale nursery or delivered to Melbourne addresses. We work closely with the Melbourne Jewish community and have been supplying Sukkot fronds for many years.
